The Sierra Monitor 2-Wire gas sensor module series provides the latest in loop-powered gas detection loaded with features not normally found in these easy to install sensor modules. The 2-wire series require minimal maintenance continuous self diagnostics, scrolling 16-character display and non-intrusive calibration
IT Series Gas Sensor Modules, the Toxics IT meets the needs of integrators industry-wide to incorporated hazardous gas monitoring information into their plant-wide safety and process system. The IT Toxic Series Gas Sensor Modules utilize proven electrochemical technology to monitor for toxic gases or oxygen deficiency. IT Modules require minimal maintenance. Continuous self-diagnostics will automatically detect and indicate any fault condition.

The Sierra IR Combustibles Gas Detector Module is Best of Class when it comes to providing the features. The IR Gas Sensor Module utilizes Non-Dispersive Infrared technology to monitor for combustible gases (Methane and others). Output range is either 0-100% of LEL or percent (%) by volume. This Module requires minimal maintenance with a calibration check once a year. Internal continuous self-diagnostics will automatically indicate any fault or optics problems.

The Catalytic Bead Combustible Gas Sensor Module utilizes the proven, reliable, catalytic bead technology to monitor for combustible gases (methane and others). Output range is 0-100% of Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). This detector has minimal maintenance requirements for six month calibration intervals. Internal, continuous self-diagnostics automatically detect and alarm any fault problems. For higher level system capability the module can interface directly to Sierra Monitorís Sentry Controller system.

The Sentry gas detection system provides a powerful but cost effective solution to gas monitoring demands for a broad range of applications. Sentry is a stand-alone gas monitoring system, but can also be part of a more extensive system with MODBUS interface to DCS systems.

Integrating gas detection, logic controls, graphical interface and remote web server displays, the Sentry IT Controller is "Best of Class". The Sentry controller heritage continues to emphasize Information Technology as a key ingredient of system design. The capability of simultaneous interface via analog 4-20 mA, RS-485 Modbus, Relay contact and SentryBus insures that both new and legacy sensor modules can be deployed. Sierra Monitorís 20X/200X gas sensor monitors consist of three gas sensor modules used to monitor combustible gas, Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), and Carbon Monoxide (CO). The 20X/200X monitors are based on solid state (semiconductor) technology, a simple and robust method of detection capable of detecting low points-per-million (ppm) levels of gases.

Sierra Monitorís Quasar 900, as manufactured by Spectrex, is an open path gas detection system which provides continuous monitoring for combustible hydrocarbon gases such as Methane and Propane.The Quasar 900 consists of a Xenon Flash infrared transmitter and infrared receiver, separated over a line of sight from 23 ft. (7 m) up to 650 ft. (200 m).

Sierra Monitor offers a variety of gas calibrators to help the users keep their gas sensor modules properly calibrated and accurate. The Calibrator Kit includes a regulator, calibration adapter and carrying case. The individual calibration gas cylinders are sold separately. The 1260 Series gas cylinders are large capacity enabling the user to perform many calibrations with a single cylinder. There are a variety of cylinder sizes available.

The model 3986 UV/IR flame detector is designed to detect unwanted fires and output appropriate alarm information. The model 3986 senses ultraviolet radiation and infrared radiation in the appropriate wavelengths for very early fire detection. Using the patented Fire Event Analysis (FEA) algorithm, it is also able to distinguish between real fire and non-fire events providing superior false alarm immunity. The technology has proven itself over decades of reliable service.

The model 3966 UV flame detector is designed to detect unwanted fires and output appropriate alarm information. The model 3966 senses ultraviolet radiation in the appropriate wavelength for extremely fast fire detection. The model 3966 will sense both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires, a technology which has proven itself over decades of reliable service.

Our most advanced model,†the 3976 multi-spectrum infrared (IR) flame detector is designed to detect unwanted fires and output appropriate alarm information. In a breakthrough technological advance, the model 3976 senses infrared radiation in up-to-five discreet infrared wavelengths for early fire detection. The multi-spectrum sensor information, combined with the sophisticated algorithm, enables the model 3976 the ability to quickly detect hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fueled fires. The model 3976 also features an automatic self-test function to monitor the detectorís ability to sense fires and report a fault condition when impaired.

The 3100 Series flame detector utilizes a tri-spectra design (ultraviolet, infrared, and visible light spectrums) to provide continuous and reliable flame detection. The 3100 Seriesí tri-spectra design provides the ability to detect flames from both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon sources, making it the ideal product for a typical chemical/petrochemical plant where the flame source could be generated from a variety of gases. Self-diagnostic features of the microprocessor continuously perform system tests, watching for any faults which would impair its ability to accurately detect a flame and declare an alarm.

Sierra Monitor offers Sentry NEMA systems to easily upgrade to a Sentry IT System, enhancing your gas safety with modern technology. You get to keep your installed sensors and there is no need to run new wires. This
provides you with additional functionality not found in your current system including additional sensor capability
(while maintaining same compact design), Modbus communications, additional outputs and web browser interface. The retrofit only takes a few simple tools and about an hour or two of time.

Sierra Monitor's Sentry InSite is an intuitive web-based monitoring application that provides safety managers and engineers with the ability to locally and remotely access their facility's fire and gas safety system online. Via connection to an Ethernet-based communications network, InSite provides full monitoring of a Sentry system controller and all connected modules through a series of web pages. These well-defined auto-generated web pages highlight status, alarm, and other relevant information necessary to maintain the safety of a facility and its occupants. InSite can be viewed on PCs, tablets, and smartphones connected to the local Ethernet network.
